Investment Analyst – Infrastructure Private Equity
The Firm
A leading European infrastructure asset manager investing across energy transition, digital infrastructure, transport and logistics, circular economy, and social infrastructure. The platform combines equity and credit strategies to deliver long-term, sustainable value for institutional investors through essential infrastructure assets.
The Role
The firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Milan-based investment team. The successful candidate will support the execution and management of infrastructure investments across core sectors, working closely with senior professionals on transactions and portfolio activities.
This role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and asset management, within a well-established infrastructure investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of infrastructure investments (equity and/or credit)
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (valuation, LBO, project finance models)
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research
- Assist in due diligence processes and coordination with external advisors
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memoranda
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support asset management initiatives
- Track market developments, regulatory changes, and sector trends
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure/private equity, or project finance
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Demonstrated interest in infrastructure investing and real assets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluency in English required; Italian strongly preferred
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline from a top-tier institution
