We are seeking a final-year undergraduate or recent graduate to join our Integrated Supply Chain Department as an Inventory Planning Intern.
You will join our Headquarters in Florence, being part of the Integrated Supply Chain Department and working within the Demand & Inventory Management team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end supply chain process by ensuring optimal stock availability across all distribution channels, balancing customer demand with efficient inventory control to minimise excess stock and waste.
You’ll support the team in the following activities:
- Ensuring appropriate levels of Raw Materials and Finished Goods within Central Stock to support all distribution channels and direct customer demand.
- Supporting weekly production launches, commercial order entry activities and monthly Wholesale order management.
- Contributing to worldwide Collection Monitoring activities, including sales performance analysis and the preparation of reorder proposals for Markets.
- Managing and analysing data through structured Excel reporting, working closely with Production, Order Entry, Warehouse and Buying teams to monitor stock performance and ensure efficient inventory turnover.
What you'll bring
- Degree in Management Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Genuine interest in supply chain, logistics and inventory management.
- Fluency in Italian and English, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
