As a Technical Support Intern , you will embark on a dynamic learning journey with Philips IT Health Imaging products, contributing to international project delivery for the EMEA region. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for Radiology Informatics and related infrastructure elements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technical Services Team in the project delivery setting, assisting in installations and upgrades of Radiology Informatics solutions.
• Perform technical installations of radiology software, ensuring application readiness, completing installations, and handling technical configurations.
• Support end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), VNA (Vendor Neutral Archiving).
• Troubleshoot system failures, document solutions, and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Classify, prioritize, and resolve issues to maintain solution uptime and data safety.
• Customize monitoring tools, produce technical reports, and support the Monitoring Platform roadmap.

Requirements

• Technical School (IT background preferred) or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic technical knowledge in software/hardware solutions, including Windows OS, servers, storage, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
• Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools, databases, virtualization, and scripting languages would be a plus.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.

This 6-month, extracurricular internship in Genoa, Italy, offers hands‑on experience in Technical Support and Radiology Informatics.
