Job Purpose
This role is a great starting point for a Junior HR Professional to develop critical skills to support business growth and innovation agenda through attracting, developing and retaining high-potential talent aligned with ITW values.
The HRBP will be responsible for overall Human Resources activities for the Business Unit Building (Sales & Marketing) mainly located in Italy.
Good opportunity to combine hands-on operational HR leadership with business partnering to drive full employee lifecycle support, talent management, organization design, culture, D&I and compensation — while contributing to business strategy and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Unit managers on organisation design, talent & succession planning, skills frameworks, change management and proactive talent development to deliver business growth.
- Supporting full employee lifecycle for business unit: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, training, reward and offboarding.
- Provide generalist HR support to the Business Unit and ensure compliance with local legislation.
- Play an active role in D&I initiatives and promote an inclusive culture to enhance employee experience.
- Perform annual compensation reviews and ad hoc compensation analysis for the business unit.
- Act as a champion for the business culture and become an expert in the ITW business model
- Oversee administrative activities: training, development, local policy implementation.
- Contribute to strategy via HR/business analysis and support group initiatives (e.g. Customer-Back Innovation).
- Provide coaching and trusted leadership to peer group; build influence and credibility across all levels.
- Adopt hands-on, outcome-focused approach (80/20) with strong commercial/financial acumen.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree
- Up to 3 year experience in HR department as a HR Generalist.
- Manufacturing/industrial experience is a plus.
- Proven track record in talent management, succession, org design, D&I, compensation and cullture/high-performance/retention.
- Growth Mindset with demonstrated commercial and business growth support.
- Strong Business appetence. Ability to build credibility within a business, strong partnership with Leaders
- Fluent Italian and English
- Open to travel in Europe to build strong working relationships within the business leaders and the HR team
