Corporate Bank Intern

Support the Coverage team and Product Sales teams in managing and developing relationships with Italian corporate clients, leveraging the bank’s global network. Gain exposure to a wide range of banking products and services, including Lending, Trade Finance, Cash Management, FX and rates hedging, Trust and Agency Services and Security Services. Assist with client‑facing activities such as financial and credit analysis, preparing documentation, and following up on action items. Perform internal administrative and business management activities. Help manage client queries and requests under senior banker supervision. Work alongside credit and product teams in Italy and abroad to support deal execution and ensure smooth client service. Support day‑to‑day operations and collaborate with colleagues across different functions and locations. Learning Objectives
Attend client meetings/calls and assist in preparing documentation and follow‑up actions. Support in analyzing clients’ financial statements, business models, and industry trends. Prepare internal memos for briefing, credit approvals, capital allocation forums, and other committees. Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and prospective clients. Assist in preparing client presentations. Learn about relevant bank policies and processes, and operate in compliance with them. Requirements
Strong academic record in Economics or Management Engineering. Proactivity, problem‑solving attitude, ambition, and responsiveness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to onboard quickly and establish positive relationships with the team and clients. Strong analytical skills; able to assimilate new information rapidly and relate it to client needs. Strong knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, including credit analysis. Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork. Resilience in a fast‑paced environment and ability to work well under pressure. Computer skills: Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in English is a must. Start Date and Compensation
