International Trade Marketing & Communication Specialist
The role is to support the development and execution of marketing initiatives across the sector, enhancing brand visibility, managing external communications, and engaging industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market presence.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activities align with business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry stakeholders.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to promote company initiatives, product launches, and events.
- Support distributors’ marketing offices with tools and collect case stories of applications.
- Communicate with international suppliers and customers.
- Support product launches with PR activities, including website revamps.
- Manage monthly newsletters for both business divisions.
- Monitor media coverage and manage PR opportunities to enhance brand reputation.
- Create high‑quality, engaging content tailored for email, newsletters, web, and PR materials.
- Collaborate with the sector’s web magazine by contributing articles, insights, and promotional content.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to engage clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies based on KPIs such as open rates and click‑through rates.
- Use design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create visually appealing marketing materials.
- Support and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences, representing the company and coordinating communication activities before, during, and after the events.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and cultural skills.
- Strong public relations and media engagement experience.
- Proven content creation and storytelling ability.
- Experience with email marketing tools.
- Design skills are a plus for creating visual content.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, PR, or communications.
- Experience working with industry publications or web magazines is highly desirable.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Fluent in English and German; French or Spanish are a big plus.
