International Trade Marketing & Communication Specialist

The role is to support the development and execution of marketing initiatives across the sector, enhancing brand visibility, managing external communications, and engaging industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market presence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing activities align with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry stakeholders.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to promote company initiatives, product launches, and events.
  • Support distributors’ marketing offices with tools and collect case stories of applications.
  • Communicate with international suppliers and customers.
  • Support product launches with PR activities, including website revamps.
  • Manage monthly newsletters for both business divisions.
  • Monitor media coverage and manage PR opportunities to enhance brand reputation.
  • Create high‑quality, engaging content tailored for email, newsletters, web, and PR materials.
  • Collaborate with the sector’s web magazine by contributing articles, insights, and promotional content.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to engage clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies based on KPIs such as open rates and click‑through rates.
  • Use design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Support and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences, representing the company and coordinating communication activities before, during, and after the events.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and cultural skills.
  • Strong public relations and media engagement experience.
  • Proven content creation and storytelling ability.
  • Experience with email marketing tools.
  • Design skills are a plus for creating visual content.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, PR, or communications.
  • Experience working with industry publications or web magazines is highly desirable.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Fluent in English and German; French or Spanish are a big plus.
