Role Description

We are seeking an International Merchandising Intern for our Milan office (6 months internship) within our Brand Marketing team.

Your role will involve supporting the merchandising team with daily activities, including analyzing sales data, displaying products in stores, and communicating with local teams to ensure the effective implementation of company strategies. You will also manage administrative tasks related to merchandising and collaborate with the logistics and distribution teams. This is a full-time, on-site internship, ideal for those aspiring to develop an international career.

The selected candidate will initially work closely alongside the International Merchandising Manager and, during her maternity leave, will take ownership of the merchandising activities supporting our four brands across international markets and client countries.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on responsibility in a fast-paced, global beauty environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt planograms  for various merchandising solutions

• Support the development and execution of floorstands and in-store display solutions

• Coordinate merchandising activities across 4 brands and multiple international markets

• Support the Brand Director in managing and monitoring the merchandising budget

• Collaborate closely with Sales teams and international clients

• Ensure alignment between brand guidelines and in-store execution

• Monitor timelines and follow up with suppliers and stakeholders


Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or related field

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

• Interest in beauty, retail, and international markets


Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical skills, useful for interpreting data and proposing strategic solutions.

Communication and customer orientation skills are essential to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.

A background in Marketing and Sales is preferred, as the role requires support in financial management and the operational development of sales strategies.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in the beauty industry and international merchandising are also appreciated.
