International IT Manager

We are supporting an international company operating in the energy sector in the search for an International IT Manager.

The role will be responsible for designing, operating and securing the company’s global IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, while coordinating the entire IT supplier ecosystem and ensuring the delivery of resilient, secure and high-performing services across multiple locations in Europe, the Americas and Asia.

The position has direct responsibility for infrastructure, network, cybersecurity and digital workplace services. An application development team reports into the role while operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s global technology landscape and supporting business operations across multiple geographies .

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global infrastructure strategy across on-premises and cloud environments, with particular focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Ensure availability, scalability, performance and security of infrastructure services.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives, governance frameworks and risk mitigation activities.
• Manage global network infrastructure and connectivity across international locations.
• Oversee digital workplace services and end-user technologies.
• Lead international IT projects from planning through implementation and delivery.
• Manage technology vendors, contracts and service level agreements.
• Contribute to IT budgeting, investment planning and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and globally distributed teams across different regi ons

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations or technology leadership roles.
• Strong experience across cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Proven track record in international and multi-site organizations.
• Strong project management and vendor management capabilities.
• Ownership mindset, autonomy and accountability.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to balance operational stability with innovation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English
• Fluency in Spanish is considered a plus
