NCT Group , a global polymers trading company headquartered in Breda, Netherlands, is currently looking for a Sales Trainee to participate in their International Sales Trainee Program - Italian Market starting in September 2026.


Are you a student or graduate either from a technical or business-related study field in Italy and are interested in going into sales? Do you speak fluent Italian and English, are outgoing and like to approach people, and want to pursue an international career?


Then the International Sales Trainee Program of NCT might be the perfect next step to advance your career! This role is designed for graduates who want to combine technical or business knowledge with a career in sales.


About the International Sales Trainee Program - Italian Market

NCT’s international sales program starts in September 2026. During the one-year program based in Breda, Netherlands, you will gain hands-on experience in international sales and develop the skills needed to succeed in a commercial role within the polymers industry . You will work closely with different departments such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to understand the full commercial process . You will gradually take on responsibility for projects such as market and competitor research, management of participation in industry events, and supporting customer development activities.

During the program, you will receive valuable training , ranging from sales fundamentals - by one of the Netherlands’ leading sales trainers - to product training , and also have access to personal development courses. You will be supported by a dedicated mentor , an experienced Sales professional, who will coach you regularly and guide your development throughout the program. Further, the Managing Director and the HR Manager will accompany you throughout the program.

After successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to step into a full-time role as Sales Representative for the Italian market.


Your Profile

  • You have a degree either in a technical or business-related field (e.g. chemistry, business administration, marketing or similar)
  • You are ambitious, driven, and very motivated to reach your goals and perform on a high level. When faced with obstacles or challenges you try to solve them instead of giving up.
  • You are very pro-active, willing to learn, and like to talk to people. You have strong communication skills, and speak native-level Italian and good English 
  • You are adventurous and are excited by the prospect of living and working abroad for an international company.
  • You want to pursue a career in sales. Ideally, you have gained first experience in sales (e.g. internship). Please note this is not mandatory however.
