Lega Calcio Serie A is looking for a driven and strategic International Development and Marketing Manager to join its International Media rights team.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the global identity of one of the world's most prestigious football leagues, developing the Serie A brand and growing its fanbase across international markets.


SCOPE OF WORK

Reporting directly to the International Media Rights Director, the International Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Shaping and executing international marketing strategies to strengthen the Serie A brand across key global territories
  • Identifying and activating territory-specific marketing levers — including digital, partnerships, and fan engagement — tailored to local audiences and market dynamics
  • Analysing strategic frameworks and market data to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable development initiatives
  • Creating and delivering high-quality presentations to internal stakeholders and external prospects and partners, clearly communicating strategy, performance, and opportunities
  • Partnering with local broadcasters to develop and activate tailored marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment between licensees' strategies and Lega Serie A's international objectives
  • Monitoring KPIs and competitive benchmarks, turning data insights into clear strategic recommendations
  • Supporting the planning and execution of international activations and campaigns in coordination with Lega Serie A's overseas offices


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international marketing within the sports industry; background in European football is strongly preferred
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings in a clear, effective, and visually compelling way
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with proven experience engaging senior internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and composure combined with innovative thinking and creative mindset
  • English at C1 level minimum is mandatory; advanced proficiency in another language, besides Italian, is required
  • Based in Milan, with availability for frequent international travel and extended stays abroad
