International Business Controller Junior

About the role
We are building our international controlling function and are looking for a Junior Controller to join our finance team.
You will support the financial management of a fast-growing business operating across multiple countries, with direct exposure to group-level reporting, monthly closing, and intercompany dynamics .
Working closely with the International Controller, you will play an active role in ensuring the quality and reliability of financial data across the Group.
What you will do
- Support the monthly and quarterly closing process for international entities
- Work on intercompany reconciliations , identifying and resolving differences across countries
- Contribute to financial reporting and variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast)
- Support the preparation of Monthly Business Review materials for management
- Interact with local finance teams to collect, validate, and challenge financial data
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support audits and contribute to improving financial processes and reporting tools
- Contribute to process improvements through automation and the use of digital tools
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in controlling, audit, or accounting
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation)
- Solid understanding of financial statements
- Fluent in English
- Interest in or exposure to digital tools and automation applied to data analysis or reporting is a strong plus
