Internal Auditor - High Jewelry Sector

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Industry: High Jewelry - Luxury Holding

Location: Italy (with frequent travel)

Contract: Permanent

Role Description:

We are looking for an Internal Auditor with at least 6-7 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in Retail or Manufacturing environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, contributing to the proper management of business processes in a luxury holding company operating in the high jewelry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices.
  • Assess business risks and identify areas for improvement in operational, financial, and production processes.
  • Analyze internal controls and propose solutions to optimize company procedures, enhancing operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, providing recommendations to management.
  • Support management in conducting special audits or audits requested by corporate governance.
  • Collaborate closely with business departments to monitor the implementation of corrective actions arising from audits.
  • Travel up to 40% of the time, primarily within Italy (80%) and Europe (20%).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 6-7 years of experience as an Internal Auditor, preferably in Retail or Manufacturing environments, and in high-end sectors.
  • Experience in both in-house audit roles and, if applicable, consulting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of audit standards and risk management regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel, including international travel, for field activities.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (both spoken and written).
