Intern - RE Sector

The Real Estate team in Italy (“RE Italy”) originates and executes business opportunities within the Real Estate sector with main focus on cash flow based financing structures. The selected candidate will join a team of 5 professionals for 6 months, supporting the daily activities by structuring new transactions, preparing internal ratings and credit analysis, liaising with Portfolio Management for loan monitoring, working with Risk Management and Legal, and attending RE EMEA commercial committees as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with market, industry trends and developments, analyse external reports and provide brief summaries to the team and stakeholders.
• Draft internal notes and keep team members/stakeholders informed on material developments.
• Analyse new financing teasers received from clients.
• Attend asset site visits with other team members.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations on new commercial proposals and any other RE related topic for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage electronic documents and online storage of project documentation, including legal documents, borrowers' reporting information and waivers/consents.
• Cross‑check key reporting against data stored in the electronic document management database and update information as necessary.
• Perform monitoring tasks when required.

Educational and Work Experience / Qualifications

• University graduate (or student close to graduation) with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or training in financial analysis (Real Estate Finance courses considered a plus).
• Proven analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and especially Excel.
• Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken) is a must.
