• “Hands-on” shipyard experience is needed.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, this position is accountable to oversee/supervise the shipyard, contractors and suppliers associated with the luxury ships’ interiors, accommodations, design, technical equipment, technical hotel, installation and commission.

Provide technical and operational expertise in architectural design, guidance and overall assistance to the shipyard.

Key deliverables:

• Plan reviews, draw reviews and design reviews along with associated feedback
• Inspection of ships
• Assists in the review, commentary and preparing of approval correspondence for vessel plans, drawings, samples, mock-ups, makers specifications and ensures timely responses.
• Attends daily inspections and Commissioning activities
• Supplier/vendor management and following up to ensure timelines are being met
• Factory inspections
• Manage multiple on-going projects
• Maintains overall picture pertaining to a cohesive, upscale design and guest experience
• Understands the luxury cruise industry with associated design experience
