ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Interface Engineer to join the team of Metals&Minerals to participate in a pioneering international project in the steel industry in Sweden.
You will be responsible for managing all interfaces in your area of construction between the various contracts, contractors or supplies for the project, ensuring that everything fits together perfectly and that there are no discrepancies or differences that could generate risks in terms of costs, deadlines or guarantees.

ABOUT YOU
Apply if you…
- Have a degree un Engineering.
- Have over 5 years of experience as an Engineer in the Oil & Gas, Engineering and Construction, Steel, Mining and/or Infrastructure sectors.
- You have experience in analyzing and understanding technical engineering documentation to correctly manage interface issues with other project stakeholders.
- You have worked in coordination with multifunctional teams, including design, production and quality control.
- Are a team player with technical excellence.
- Can work independently with a flair for innovation.
- Do have an advanced level of English.

Main duties:
- Manage interface issues related to your area of construction, analysing documentation from different contractors, engineering companies, suppliers or services to ensure that everything fits together correctly and is consistent.
- Work in coordination with the interface management team to attend necessary meetings and review project documentation in a timely manner, verifying that all interface issues fit perfectly between the various contractors or suppliers (TOPs, battery limits, etc.).
- Manage supplies from other companies (complex contracts) together with the client, ensuring that supplies or ancillary services arrive on time and under the conditions agreed in the various contracts.
- Oversee the implementation of plans and procedures to ensure compliance with the project schedule, budget, safety procedures, quality and applicable legislation.
- Define appropriate communication channels at each level.
- Support the client in compiling and delivering the necessary documentation for the management of permits and authorisations within the established deadlines.
- Provide appropriate information to internal and external stakeholders.
