We are looking for an Intellectual Property (IP) Trainee to join our prestigious international law firm. If you are strongly dedicated to protecting innovation and eager to learn more about trademark, patent and copyright protection law, this opportunity is for you!


As well as possessing excellent academic credentials and legal knowledge, the ideal candidate is also business-minded, and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges. Excellent oral and written communication skills will be major assets - enabling you to negotiate effectively, and to seamlessly manage the flow of information between practice groups, clients and stakeholders. You should also demonstrate a collaborative approach and an ease interacting with a wide range of legal and business professionals. Proactive and self-motivated, you should be eager to take ownership of your work product and demonstrate the skill, talent and commitment to deliver outstanding results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Management: Participate in defending intellectual property rights in cases of infringement or legal disputes, also in contexts regarding international matters.
  • Legal Research & Advice: Contribute to legal research on trademarks, patents, designs, and other IP aspects, supporting strategies for rights protection.
  • Infringement Monitoring: Assist in monitoring IP rights to identify potential infringements and take necessary legal action.
  • IP Contract Drafting Assistance: Provide support in drafting IP-related contracts, including licenses, rights transfers, and confidentiality agreements.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Law degree, with a final grade of not less than 105/110, preferably with a specialization or strong interest in IP, trademarks, patents and copyrights.
  • Availability to start from September 2026.
  • Basic knowledge in trademark, patent and copyright law, with a keen interest in technology and innovation.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), as this role involves working with international clients and colleagues.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
