Summary
Menarini is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to primarily focus on the governance and operational excellence of our next-generation middleware platform, with a focus on Boomi. This role will be pivotal in establishing development standards, ensuring secure and scalable integration across global systems, and acting as the primary internal interface with our system integrators for Application Management Services (AMS) and System Management Services (SMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Own the governance and best practices for the new iPaaS platform (Boomi) and existing middleware platforms (SAP PI/PO/ODI)
- Act as the internal point of contact and subject matter expert for system integrators providing AMS/SMS for our integration landscape
- Lead the migration of existing interfaces from SAP PI/PO/ODI to Boomi
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and GAP teams to define integration governance guidelines, design patterns, interface lifecycles, and documentation standards
- Oversee the configuration, development, and deployment of integration workflows (recipes/flows) across systems like SAP, Veeva, etc ensuring adherence to established governance.
- Lead automated testing, monitoring, and alerting solutions for integration health and performance.
- Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and project steering meetings, representing the integration governance function.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration platforms (Boomi), with a strong emphasis on governance, best practices, and operational management
- Solid understanding of SAP (ECC/S4), API integration, data formats (JSON, XML), and protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST)
- Experience managing external service providers (e.g., system integrators) for middleware migrations and ongoing AMS/SMS
- Familiarity with pharma GxP, GDPR, and secure data processing standards.
- Excellent knowledge english language
Preferred
- Boomi Professional Certification.
- Italian language skills (a plus but not mandatory).
- Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, finance).
