ABOUT THE ROLE - INSTRUMENTATION COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
Report to Hook - up and commissioning SPT, candidate to ensure the successful pre - commissioning, commissioning, and start - up of all instrumentation systems and field devices on oil and gas projects. The role ensures compliance with engineering design, safety regulations, and operational readiness before handover to operations.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Review and verify P&IDs, instrument loop drawings, hookup diagrams, and instrument data sheets. Develop and implement instrumentation commissioning procedures, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and commissioning schedules. Lead and execute loop checks, point - to - point wiring verification, instrument calibration, and functional testing of: Field transmitters (pressure, temperature, level, flow), Control valves and positioners, Safety and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), Fire & Gas detection systems (F&G), Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLCs Coordinate with construction, quality, process, electrical, and operations teams for system handover and readiness. Interface with vendors for packaged equipment commissioning and troubleshooting. Prepare and manage loop folders, redline mark - ups, punch list items, and system completions. Ensure instrumentation systems comply with project specifications, IEC, ISA, API, and hazardous area classification standards. Support dynamic commissioning and initial start - up of systems. Maintain accurate and timely records of commissioning activities and generate commissioning dossiers for final handover.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Strong technical knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, datasheets, and drawings. Effective leadership and supervision of technicians and subcontractors. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Problem - solving and troubleshooting under pressure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Electrical / Automation / Instrumantation Engineering Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
The salary for this role ranges from €75,000 to €90,000. This position is governed by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Commerce and the Service Sector, as applied by our company. The specific salary within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the results of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. For candidates with exceptional qualifications beyond the indicated range, a salary adjustment may be considered subject to internal approval.
