Responsibilities

Assists the Sales Function in new business approach and development. Maintains and generates new business with existing customers and ensures a great customer experience.

  • Assist Sales Function to market and sell products and services:
    • Qualify potential customers using the available tools and performing direct calls
    • Generate qualified sales leads
    • Manage directly small customers in accordance with strategy segmentation
  • Manage quotation requests for new business and existing customers closing cooperating with NSM, BM & BDM:
    • Receive quotation request
    • Prepare quotation according to the expected job profit
    • Ensure client rates are updated
    • Ensure all quotations produced are followed up
  • Manage events and incidents, escalate exceptions
  • Communicate with selected customers on regular basis also by communicating market update
  • Conduct or participate on review meetings with the customer
  • Pro-actively help to take actions to improve customer experience
  • Smooth and easy communication with operations team and all other relevant departments in order to process carefully shipments to maximize customer satisfaction

Skills Required

  • Good knowledge of freight forwarding operational processes, min. two years of experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to find efficient solutions for the customer
  • Customer service driven attitude, good telephone manner with proficiency
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English/ (other local language), both verbally and in writing
