Perceived Quality Manager – Premium/Luxury Automotive

Role mission

Ensure every vehicle consistently and recognisably expresses the brand’s values, turning perceived quality into a measurable competitive advantage throughout the entire product development cycle.

Responsibilitie s

- Define the Perceived Quality strategy in line with the brand’s positioning and identity

- Set targets and requirements, translating them into technical, verifiable, and repeatable criteria

- Manage multisensory quality (visual, tactile, acoustic, olfactory, interaction) across all phases

- Oversee benchmarking of premium/luxury brands and translate insights into actions

- Lead cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Prototyping, Manufacturing, UX)

- Embed Perceived Quality from concept/architecture stages, reducing risk and rework

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields

- Significant experience with premium/luxury OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers

- Advanced knowledge of perceived/sensory quality, UX, and interior/exterior quality

- Ability to translate subjective aspects into structured, measurable objectives

- Leadership, strong technical authority, and customer orientation

- High attention to detail with a systemic product view

- Fluent English (C1/C2); Italian a plus

- Willingness to travel within Europe (to clients, suppliers, and plants)
