Primary Function:
Cost analysis (Variable and Tooling cost) of Electrical & Electronics components and systems of new design and modifications.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Target cost estimation during the design and development phase, working with the Cost Manager and Team Leader.
- Support the systems and components development with Design to cost approach, guiding the designers to select the best technologies, process and materials in terms of cost and quality.
- Macro estimation of parts and systems starting from preliminary Engineering ideas, Block Diagrams or concepts.
- Benchmarking activities starting from 3D/2D or disassembled parts.
- Support Purchasing Department during the negotiation phase.
