The Infrastructures & Processes Industrial Leader will join the Industrial Management team for Military programmes and will coordinate the industrial activities of a new strategic military program. The Industrialisation team is the Operations primary interface for the Program. In this role you will provide technical and management support during the Program launch and the execution of the development phases, define development plans for critical Program enablers throughout the Operations, coordinate with all the Functions involved within the Operations (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Procurement…) and with other relevant functions (Digital Technology, Safety & Quality Management System, Human Resources), reporting to the Operations Leader.

The goals of this role are to maintain the industrial readiness of the program, evaluate and manage related risks, and support cost control. The position is based at the Rivalta site and involves coordination with the Operations Leader to define program plans and with other internal and external parties. Travel to other Avio Aero sites, suppliers and abroad and work in a highly classified environment is expected.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Infrastructures and Processes readiness for the Operations
  • Create and execute integrated plans according to the Program Target and the Program Integrated Master Schedule in terms of
    • Technological and operational requirements (delivery milestones, industrialisation and readiness targets)
    • Process and technological enablers
    • Security compliance
    • Economics/financial and contractual targets
  • Provide technical leadership to the cross‑functional teams during the execution
  • Proactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may impact success, timing and compliance of the program
  • Define, update and monitor capital investment economics
  • Responsible for the approval process for the necessary investment plan
  • Responsible for Program Control Board preparation for his/her area of competence
  • Responsible for reporting‑out to Leadership team
  • Support other relevant functions for his/her area of competence
  • Monitor the program progress and report relevant KPIs at the program operating rhythm

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Engineering Master’s degree
  • Technical competence on products and processes, with previous documented experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering
  • Knowledge of the digital technology enablers for Operations
  • Previous experience in multi‑year development projects/programs
  • Proven programme/project management experience
  • Proven ability to guide and lead others in a matrix and challenging environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work with international partners
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Work Visa in accordance with local regulation and Italian citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain Italian Personal Security Clearances and approvals according to Art. 13 and Art. 25 DPCM 06/11/2015 n.5
