Job Opportunity: End-User Support Specialist (EUSS)
Location: Rome, Italy
Work Type: Full-Time, Onsite
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive End-User Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Rome, Italy. If you have a strong background in 2nd-line IT support and audiovisual (AV) systems—and enjoy working in dynamic, multicultural environments—we’d love to hear from you.
⚠️ Please Note: Due to project requirements, only EU nationals are eligible for this position.
Your Responsibilities
End-User & AV Support (2nd Line)
- Act as the escalation point for complex incidents beyond 1st-line support.
- Deliver hands-on support for hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with the Helpdesk for remote diagnostics and case follow-up.
Digital Workplace Support
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, docking stations, monitors, webcams, headsets, and mobile devices.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of end-user equipment.
Network & Telephony Support
- Maintain reliable network access (VPN, VLAN, remote access).
- Support VOIP/PABX and mobile services, including Teams integration.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues both on-site and remotely.
AV & Video Conferencing
- Provide support for Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Skype for Business, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance and testing of AV equipment.
Ticketing & Service Quality
- Manage and escalate tickets in ServiceNow with attention to quality.
- Guide ICT-1 team members and ensure consistent troubleshooting standards.
- Create incident reports and support documentation updates.
✅ What You’ll Bring
- Nationality: Must be an EU citizen to meet project compliance requirements.
- Languages: Proficient in English and French (minimum B2 level).
- Tech Skills: Strong with Windows OS, MS Office, AV tools, Teams, Zoom.
- Solid knowledge of networking (Switches, VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi), VOIP, PABX.
- Familiar with basic server operations (access rights, DHCP, backups).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (internships included).
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
- Analytical, dependable, and adaptable under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Experience in ITIL-based environments.
- Knowledge of additional EU languages is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Location: Client premises in Rome, Italy.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00 (8-hour shifts).
- Travel: Occasional visits to satellite offices.
- Flexibility: Occasional overtime when needed.
