JOB DESCRIPTION:

The IT PM supports the coordination of internal teams (business and IT) and suppliers in meeting a good level of delivery according to the defined projects scope and milestones.

She/He has a good knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies, with a technical background supporting architectural streams, and with good skills in translating business and technical needs into a common direction, handling project plan and ensuring that milestones are respected.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support BID management and follow-up with all stakeholders
  • Coordinate and monitor daily supplier’s activities
  • Manage and coordinate stakeholders
  • Support transversal teams with an effective communication
  • Ease requirements collection and clarification
  • Active monitoring and tracking of project phases and deliverables
  • Ensure key milestones are met and
  • Manage escalations necessary to ensure solution integrity and efficiency, and ensure senior management is aware of significant risks, issues or opportunities
  • Provide support solution working closely with key stakeholders
  • Designing and providing project reporting


Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies or relevant experience
  • Languages:
  • English – written and spoken
  • Italian – written and spoken


Experience

  • Experience in a technical ICT environment, preferably in an organization in the manufacturing, automotive industry.
  • Experience as Team Lead or Project Management in IT, on waterfall and agile projects


Required Knowledge and Skill

  • 10+ years working experience in a technical ICT environment, preferably in an organization in the manufacturing or automotive industry
  • Expert knowledge of IT project management methods, including waterfall, agile, iterative and hybrid best practices, tools, and suppliers’ governance.
  • Project Management certifications, as PMP®, Scrum Master®, CAPM® are a plus
  • Problem solving skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Good organization skills and attention to detail
  • Technical background with knowledge and understanding of main systems integration technologies, infrastructure and architectures
  • Basic knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies and best practices
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, including versioning systems, automation, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), monitoring
  • Comprehension of complex architecture and data management platforms
