The project:

Terra Innovatum's mission is to make nuclear power accessible. We deliver simple and safe micro-reactor solutions that are scalable, affordable and deployable anywhere 1 Mwe at a time.

You will be joining a fast-growing scaleup developing SOLO – a micro modular reactor – able to provide clean energy and radioisotopes where it is needed. You will be supporting the reactor licensing process in the US at first.

You will support the founding team to scaleup to a leading tech company supplying much needed energy solutions globally.

What you will be working on

Terra Innovatum IT Manager will :

- Oversee all IT systems, including on-premise servers, networks, and cloud platforms

- Plan and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals and evolving requirements, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness

- Administer hardware and software, manage user accounts, groups, security permissions, group policies, and perform routine audits for compliance and data protection

- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, security settings, and vulnerability management

- Monitor and report cloud and on-premise system health, usage, and performance for optimization and risk management

- Procure and manage IT assets and software licenses, including cost tracking for cloud services and subscriptions

- Provide users support

- Ensure all digital channels—internal and external—are technically maintained, secure, and fully operational

Who we want to work with:

  • + 3 years of proven experience as an IT manager or similar role in a startup/scaleup environment; high growth and hands-on on all topics experience needed
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Written and oral fluency in Italian and English
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with the implementation and run of advanced cloud ERP solutions


Preferred:

  • experience in the Nuclear Industry, industrial high tech, …
  • experience in a listed company
  • Advanced knowledge of European IT security protocols as notably prescribed in NIS2 Directive, EU Cybersecurity Act, GDPR, and Cyber Resilience Act
