Information Security Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Specialist to join a fast‑paced, enterprise environment in Milan. This is an onsite role, five days a week, supporting security operations and remediation activities across multiple European locations.

Role Overview

You will manage a range of security management activities assigned by the InfoSec department, coordinating remediation efforts across Europe and working closely with local support teams. This is a hands‑on position requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in both Italian and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead remediation of vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing and Qualys scanning
• Manage operating system lifecycle and obsolescence
• Investigate and handle security incidents detected by monitoring tools
• Implement security improvement initiatives involving firewalls, authentication, network segmentation, and related areas
• Support efforts to maintain the security level required by internal InfoSec standards
• Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, application teams, and occasionally engage directly with customers
• Produce clear written documentation and reports

Technical Skills

• Network security (firewalls, TCP/IP)
• Cloud security practices
• Penetration testing, SIEM, and EDR tools
• Cryptography
• Windows and Linux administration

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in information security
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be available to work onsite in Milan
