THE ROLE
At Off-White, we are looking for an Industrialization Developer to support the transition from product development to production for both Sneakers and Formal Shoes categories. The Industrialization Developer ensures that footwear collections are technically ready for production while preserving design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines. Working closely with Product Development and Operations teams, this role drives the efficient industrialization and execution of collections according to company standards.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support the industrialization process of footwear collections from prototype validation to production readiness, ensuring alignment with seasonal calendars and business objectives.
- Ensure technical feasibility, consistency and scalability of developed products across Sneakers and Formal Shoes categories.
- Review construction details, materials, engineering specifications, bills of materials (BOM) and technical data to ensure manufacturability.
- Monitor prototypes, samples, and pre-production stages to ensure alignment with approved standards and timing.
- Identify potential technical or production issues and collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions.
- Act as a coordination point between Product Development, Design, Ops teams and production partners throughout the industrialization process.
- Ensure all technical information and product specifications are clearly documented and updated in internal systems (PLM, ERP).
- Support the validation of pre-production samples before production starts.
- Contribute to improving industrialization processes to enhance efficiency, quality and knowledge sharing across the business.
WHO YOU ARE
- Relevant experience in footwear industrialization, product development or technical development within the fashion or luxury industry. Experience with both performance and formal footwear is a plus.
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials and manufacturing processes (Sneakers and/or Formal Shoes).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to deadlines and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, technical precision and quality orientation.
- Solid organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage interactions with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with PLM systems (or similar technical/product systems).
