Leading industrial company in the metal sector, currently undergoing international expansion, is seeking to hire for its plant in Italy a:

PLANT MANAGER

Mission

Lead and oversee plant operations, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, cost, and safety objectives. The Plant Manager will be responsible for production planning, team management, resource optimization, and the implementation of continuous improvement strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, in the initial phase, the adaptation of the facility in Italy, as well as the installation and commissioning of machinery.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise production to ensure volumes, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
  • Optimize costs and resources by reducing waste and improving operational efficiency.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the production team, fostering a safe and results-oriented environment.
  • Monitor production processes, inventories, and raw materials to ensure operational continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, KPIs, PDCA).
  • Manage the plant budget and ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with other departments on optimization and growth projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or similar).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial environment (metal sector experience will be an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and control, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, quality assurance (QA/QC), and ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Dynamics, OUI, or similar) and budget management.
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical mindset, results orientation, and adaptability to dynamic environments.
