Industrial Controlling Manager
For a multinational Food company we are looking for an experienced Industrial Controlling Manager to lead the Controlling function across multiple manufacturing plants in Italy.
This is a high-impact and visible role, acting as a key business partner to Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations, and supporting both strategic and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and monitoring of industrial costs and plant performance KPIs
- Own and continuously improve the industrial cost model
- Act as a strategic business partner to Operations and production leadership
- Manage the monthly closing process with full accountability
- Prepare accurate and insightful reports for senior management
- Drive variance analysis, identifying financial impacts from production, planning, and purchasing activities
- Partner with Procurement and Supply Planning to evaluate P&L impacts and support decisionmaking
- Collaborate with global controlling teams on cross-site initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization
Your Profile
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields
- 5–6 years of experience in industrial controlling within structured manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and cost structures
- Advanced analytical skills and excellent Excel proficiency
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is a plus)
- Ability to work in complex and fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, precise, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English is required
