Responsibilities
Conducting On-Site Visits:
Plan, schedule, and execute regular and unannounced visits at supplier facilities, focusing on HSE topics, social compliance, and production capacity. Reviewing financial records:
Review financial records and practices at supplier sites to ensure transparency, identify potential irregularities, assess payment practices to workers, and verify adherence to financial regulations relevant to labor compensation and ethical dealings. Performing inventory checks:
Inventory checks on open orders at external manufacturers and subcontractors. Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive visit reports detailing findings, observations, recommendations, and corrective action plans. Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of all visit-related paperwork. Training:
Potentially assist in developing and delivering training programs for suppliers on ethical, social, and labor compliance standards. Qualifications
University bachelor’s degree. Relevant certifications (e.g., SA8000 Lead Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor) are preferred. Profile
University bachelor’s degree 3+ years of experience in industrial auditing. Relevant certifications (e.g., SA8000 Lead Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor) are preferred. Thorough knowledge of auditing principles, procedures and techniques Strong understanding of supply chain compliance requirements, including ethical sourcing, environmental regulations and labor standards Ability to travel regularly (domestically and internationally) as required Fluent in English (French is a plus) Additional information
For this position, employment is expected at Level IV of the Leather and Hides Industry CCNL. The gross annual salary will be defined based on internal salary standards, the candidate's skills, and the requirements of the role.
