MISSION
Within the High-Jewelry Operations department, we are looking for an
Indirect Purchasing Specialis t to join the HSE & Facilities team based in Rome. The role involves implementing the indirect purchasing strategy in compliance with internal procedures, ensuring the timely supply of necessary materials/services, and adhering to established quality and economic objectives, in collaboration with the requesting departments.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Defining the strategy for each type of purchase, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify specifications and customization requirements for equipment, systems, materials, and services, aimed at drafting internal specifications
Supporting budget definition and periodic monitoring through the development and maintenance of control tools
Scouting and selecting suppliers, managing tenders and contracts for both current operational sites and for the construction and launch of a new site project
Negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers, including formalizing SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and optimizing the quality and cost of services
Defining and implementing contracts and supply agreements for maintenance materials and services
Issuing purchase orders for goods and services
Monitoring and requesting updates to supplier documentation
Monitoring service execution/expected deliveries and monitoring outstanding orders, in coordination with the requesting department
Supporting the analysis and evaluation of supplier performance
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields
Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in a similar role in an industrial/production environment
Knowledge of the purchasing process and negotiation techniques
Excellent knowledge of SAP and the Office suite
Good knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English (other languages are a plus)
