In-house Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Group Litigations unit within the Group Legal Affairs Department.
Group Litigations is responsible for managing Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.’s non‑insurance litigations and arbitration matters, monitoring disputes that have significant Group-wide business relevance, and providing legal advice to other Company departments on litigation-related issues.
The candidate will report directly to the Head of Group litigations and will be in charge of providing assistance in the activities needed to perform the missions of the unit.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing support/written advice on specific litigations related topics
- Providing regular case reports
- Dealing with external counsels
- Contributing to the management of disputes
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Admission to the Italian Bar
- 2 years PQE
- Previous work in private practice in litigation/dispute resolution/arbitration departments of law firms (international law firms are preferred options given the international profile of the role)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Knowledge of legal tech tools
- Excellent verbal (fluency) and written communication skills in English required, knowledge of other European languages is appreciated, additional language skills are a plus
