The Client is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer with +5 years of experience to join the International Infrastructure Department at its Florence headquarters. The role involves working on international projects, primarily in developing countries.
Engineering and consultancy company based in Florence, active since 1990 and operating internationally. Specialized in multidisciplinary design, it works across infrastructure, construction, environmental projects, and cultural heritage enhancement
- Design and hydraulic modelling for water supply, wastewater and drainage systems
- Development of climate adaptation and flood protection solutions
- Preparation of technical reports and project documentation in English/French/Spanish
- Coordination with multidisciplinary and international project teams
- Business trips abroad
- MSc in Hydraulic Engineering/Civil Engineering/similar
- +5 years of experience in hydraulic design and modelling
- Strong command of hydraulic modelling tools (HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM, MIKE)
- Excellent English; French/Spanish strongly preferred
- Ability to travel internationally and work in multicultural environments
- Freelance contract - approx. €3,500-4,000 gross per month depending on experience
- Travel expenses covered (accommodation and meals)
- Possibility to work in hybrid mode
