HVAC SENIOR ENGINEER,
For industrial plant design activities
Work location: Milan
About the Role
The candidate will be involved in the design of mechanical systems in the industrial, chemical, and petrochemical sectors.
Responsibilities
- Calculating heating and cooling loads;
- Designing heating/cooling plants and air handling units;
- Developing functional diagrams and system layouts;
- Sizing air and water distribution networks;
- Drafting technical specifications for project equipment;
- Preparing general and specialized technical reports;
- Interfacing with suppliers and clients;
- Collaborating with other disciplines involved in the project.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical / Building / Energy Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems design in civil and industrial sectors;
- Knowledge of specific HVAC tools (e.g., HAP Carrier) and AutoCAD 2D/3D;
- Willingness to travel for short assignments, if necessary;
- Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
Required Skills
Knowledge of Revit software and international standards such as ASHRAE and NFPA will be considered a plus.
