We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer / Project Specialist Leader (PSL) to join our Engineering Center in Fano (PU). In this role, you will be the technical reference point for the HVAC discipline throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all HVAC engineering activities, ensuring strict compliance with contractual requirements, international codes, budget, and project schedules. Lead the issuance, review, and approval of all HVAC technical documents and deliverables. Develop and verify detailed engineering designs, including data sheets, thermal, aeraulic, and hydraulic calculation reports, and pressure drop analyses. Support the team during bidding phases, preparing detailed scopes of work and Material Design Reports (MDR) for EPC contracts. Vendor & Contractor Management:

Supervise engineering contractors and package vendors during detailed design and follow-up phases. Issue Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), ensuring cost-saving and standardized solutions. Check the quality and timely incorporation of comments on documents submitted by vendors, and participate in progress meetings, shop inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Project Coordination & HSE:

Ensure all Project HSE requirements are strictly implemented across all HVAC design activities and actively participate in HAZOPs. Maintain close coordination with other engineering disciplines to resolve constructability and operational matters. Identify potential deviations from project specifications and report risks or quality concerns to the Mechanical Engineering Manager. Site & Commissioning Support:

Provide technical assistance to the site team during construction, installation, and pre-commissioning/commissioning activities. Ensure the completeness of HVAC Final Documentation for an adequate hand-over to Operations. Requirements: Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Experience:

5+ years of experience in HVAC engineering and supervisory activities, specifically within the

Oil & Gas

or Energy sector. Technical Expertise:

Strong background in the design of HVAC equipment, hydronic systems, ventilation/air conditioning, thermal/refrigeration stations, heat pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS). Software Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Navisworks, Microsoft Office, and dedicated HVAC calculation software. Standards & Codes:

Deep knowledge of international codes, regulations, and classification society rules for the Oil & Gas industry. Languages:

Fluent / Proficient in English (written and spoken). Preferred:

Registration as a Chartered Engineer, PE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
