For our own projects, we are looking for: HSE Supervisor
MISSION:
The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations on site, supporting the implementation of the HSE Management System, and promoting a strong safety culture across all construction and installation activities.
TASKS:
- Supervise daily site activities ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and Italian regulations
- Implement and monitor the HSE Management System on site
- Support the preparation and update of safety documentation and emergency plans
- Ensure compliance of personnel, subcontractors, and equipment before site access
- Monitor and enforce Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and safety walks
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure closure of non-conformities
- Coordinate with site management, client representatives, and subcontractors on HSE matters
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of HSE activities
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within metalwork, steel, oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial sectors is preferred
- Hands-on experience in site-based HSE supervision
- Knowledge of Italian HSE regulations
- Experience with PTW systems, risk assessments, and site safety procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively on site
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ASPP / RSPP or equivalent HSE certifications
- Proficiency in Italian & English is mandatory
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Location: Cremona, Italy
- Project Type: Industrial (plant revamping and installation works)
- Contract Duration: Approximately 8 months
- Start Date: ASAP
- Working Schedule: Up to 10 hours/day, 6 days/week
