Position Details
This position reports to: HSE Manager.
Location: Frosinone plant, Italy.
Work model: onsite.
Contract type: fixed term contract for 1 year.
Job: contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in assigned area, cultivating a high‑performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Provide in‑depth HSE knowledge, offer solutions and advice, showcase expertise, ensure effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Reporting HSE incidents to management and stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
- Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
- Providing feedback to management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
- Supporting and driving behavioral change through local implementation of group‑wide and business‑specific performance improvement programs and practices.
Qualifications
- Highly skilled in HSE topics and enjoy working with people in production and interfuctional teams.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a position related to Health, Safety, and Environment Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Prevention.
- Knowledge of risk evaluation formats and standards (e.g., UNI EN ISO 45001, UNI EN ISO 14001, ISO 50001) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CAD software.
- Advanced proficiency in Italian is mandatory; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
