HRIS Specialist
Joining the Global HR team, within the Global Processes, Compensation & Benefits function, the HRIS Specialist supports the management and continuous evolution of the Workday system for HR processes.
The role involves both functional and operational activities (requirements analysis, coordination with ITS and HR, support during system updates and HCM Workday releases) as well as technical activities (configuration, testing, integrations, and data management).
Operating in a global environment, the role contributes to the alignment of HR processes across the Group’s different Countries / Regions / Legal Entities, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and reliability of the HRIS system as a strategic tool for human capital management.
Within a data-driven approach, the role will contribute to the creation and management of a company-wide HR dataset to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with central and local HR teams, analyze HR needs (coming from Global HR and local teams), and translate them into functional specifications for system configuration and proper setup of Workday modules.
- Create and manage a company-wide HR dataset, integrating data from different modules and corporate sources, to provide analysis and predictive insights supporting strategic HR and people management decisions. Perform statistical and predictive analyses, identifying trends, correlations, and insights useful for strategic planning (e.g., compensation, retention, performance, talent management).
- Manage HR reporting and data analysis, developing dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
- Explore, assess, and propose Artificial Intelligence and automation solutions that can be integrated into Workday and company HR processes (e.g., AI agents, predictive data analysis, task automation routines, etc.).
- Manage both routine and extraordinary maintenance of Workday, ensuring proper system functioning and data quality. Support periodic Workday updates (release management), analyzing the impact of new features and coordinating testing and validation with stakeholders (including data validation, audit, and data integrity).
- Collaborate with the ITS team and external vendors to resolve technical or evolutionary issues related to Workday.
- Contribute to Total Rewards analysis and support global Compensation & Benefits processes.
- Contribute to change management initiatives, communication, and training for internal users during new releases or process changes involving the Workday system.
Education & Professional Experience
- Degree in IT, Economics, or equivalent fields.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in similar roles (HRIS Specialist, HR Analyst, HR Systems Administrator).
- Strong knowledge of the Workday system (certification is a plus).
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
- Familiarity with end-to-end HR processes and organizational structures of large companies.
- Skills in data analysis, and in developing HR reports and dashboards.
- Ability to work in an international environment and manage global stakeholders.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
