DP World is looking for an experienced HRBP to join our team in Italy. As an HRBP, you will help the organization by creating and putting into practice people management strategies and activities that are in line with the overall business plan. You will act as a full‑scope HR Business Partner across multiple locations in Italy, managing all HR activities and the relationship with the payroll provider. Your main stakeholders will be managers and white‑collar employees. You will establish consistent HR standards, processes and foundations across the assigned locations to ensure reliable, compliant and high‑quality HR support. In a lean HR setup, you will stabilise core HR practices and enable a professional and efficient HR service to managers and employees. You will act as Point of Contact for Performance Development, Performance Improvement, iTalent, Succession Planning, Employer Branding (especially in educational area), Training Need Assessment and all other regional activities as appropriate. You are looking for someone ideally based in Bologna.
How You Will Contribute
- Supporting the management team, providing advice and guidance on HR policies, practices, and solutions.
- Supervising the implementation of HR strategies aligned with the division's objectives.
- Collaborating with managers to identify and address talent gaps, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting our values and standards.
- Leading HR projects and process improvements to streamline HR operations.
- Supporting change management initiatives related to the company's ongoing growth.
- Providing HR support in several areas including TUPE, employee development & career plans, employee engagement, performance management, and governance.
- Acting as counsel to the business in employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and absence management.
- Holding HR/up‑skilling workshops to promote best practice including delivering training in the Company's HR policies and procedures and use of HR tools.
- Coaching and mentoring people managers across the business ensuring they are confident and competent in people management processes.
- Working with the management team as a coach, challenger, contributor.
- Working with internal customers to continuously demonstrate the culture by staff.
- Working with the wider HR Team / Global HR on wider HR initiatives linked to employee engagement, health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and other project‑based activities.
- Being visible for managers and employees, including regular travel (if required) to sites under the remit of this role.
- Co‑ordinating with the wider HR Team linking Talent & Acquisition, Pay & Reward and O&D work to ensure a joined and aligned service for managers and employees.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a trusted HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Italian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency working with HR systems, with Oracle HCM experience being an advantage.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Full working proficiency in English and Italian.
