Role Overview
The HR Technology & People Analytics Specialist , based at Somacis HQ in Castelfidardo , reports to the HR Manager .
This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing HR systems and analytics frameworks that enable data-driven workforce management. The specialist ensures that HR technology supports efficient, compliant, and scalable HR processes across Somacis’ global operations, providing insights and predictive analysis to guide workforce planning, talent management, and organizational strategy.
The role is central to streamlining HR operations , improving reporting accuracy, and driving adoption of innovative HR solutions across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
HR Technology Management
- Configure, administer, and optimize HR systems including ATS, LMS, HCM, Time & Attendance, performance management and succession planning tools .
- Lead the implementation of new HR technologies , system upgrades, and platform integrations.
- Act as HR system expert , translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy and security , ensuring compliance with GDPR and corporate policies.
- Provide training and support to HR team members, managers, and end-users.
People Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data to deliver actionable insights for business decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports on key metrics: turnover, absenteeism, headcount, talent mobility, performance, L&D, engagement, HR costs .
- Build predictive models to forecast workforce needs, identify retention risks, and support succession planning.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Leadership to align workforce analytics with strategic and operational goals.
HR Process Improvement & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes , including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to digitally transform HR workflows , improving efficiency and data visibility.
- Support standardization of HR processes across Somacis’ international subsidiaries.
- Act as a key contributor in HR projects aimed at organizational development and process optimization.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory
- Act as a trusted partner for HR leadership and business managers , providing data-driven insights for workforce planning, talent management, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives.
- Communicate complex HR metrics and analytics in clear, actionable language for decision-makers.
- Support global HR strategy by ensuring HR technology and analytics provide scalable solutions for a rapidly growing multinational environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science, HR Management or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS, HR Systems, or People Analytics roles; experience in multinational or PE-backed companies preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Hands-on experience with HR digital platforms , workflow automation, and HR digital transformation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills .
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset .
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills .
- Good command of English ; additional languages a plus.
