LANXESS Italy is looking for a people-focused and dedicated HR Services Specialist (Time & Payroll) to join our team at the Latina plant. In this role, you’ll be a key partner in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth, reliable HR operations on-site.
As an HR Services Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations for all plant employees, in line with company policies and local regulations. You will report directly to the Regional HR Business Partner & Head of Italy and play a key role in both strategic and day-to-day HR activities at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Time & Attendance Zucchetti and elaborate HR reports (e.g. headcount, absenteeism, overtime, injuries, KPIs).
- Support payroll processes, including pre- and post-payroll tasks, and act as a backup for payroll administration.
- Coordinate recruitment for third-party roles, internal mobility, onboarding, and offboarding and guarantee all communication to the Authorities
- Serve as a local contact for MyHR, updating data in the system and collaborate with EMEA teams on some global HR processes
- Ensure HR policies are properly applied and followed.
- Handle HR-related issues, including disciplinary procedures and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and company rules; act as the first contact for the Works Council.
- Advise colleagues (both staff and workers) on HR matters.
- Support the HSE team on health-related topics
- Act as a key link between local operations and global HR policies, building strong relationships across teams.
Knowledge and Experience:
Education & Experience:
- University degree required; Master’s in HR Administration or Industrial Relations is a strong plus.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or shift-based environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Zucchetti Time & Attendance is essential; experience with other Zucchetti modules (e.g. payroll, training) is a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and the national chemical sector contract is an advantage.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
