We're looking for a PMO HR - Strategic Transformations & Cultural Change


Role Purpose

The PMO – Strategic Transformations & Cultural Change plays a critical role in supporting the HR Vice President in driving, coordinating and governing enterprise-wide transformation initiatives .

The role is accountable for ensuring effective execution of strategic programs , cross-functional projects and cultural change initiatives across a territory, matrix organization , acting as an integration point between HR and Business Functions.

The position combines strategic oversight, hands-on program management and collaboration with Centre of Expertise to drive Change, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy, people agenda and operational execution across Italy.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Transformation

Support the HR function in defining, prioritizing and governing the transformation portfolio (organizational, cultural, digital and capability-related initiatives).

  • Ensure alignment and consistency across legal entities, business units and functions with regards to Territory Projects, Policies, New People Priorities and Local Initiatives.
  • Provide a consolidated, fact-based view on progress, risks, dependencies and benefits realization.


Program & Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional and multi-entity programs , partnering with HRBP, Centre of Excellence and Business Leaders.
  • Establish and maintain PMO standards, governance frameworks, methodologies and tools across the organization.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with the expected strategic and people impact.


Change Management & Cultural Transformation

  • Actively support enterprise-level change management and cultural transformation initiatives .
  • Partner with HRBP and business executives, and measure change effectiveness through adoption, behavioral indicators, engagement and qualitative feedback.
  • Act as a trusted change advisor and catalyst , fostering a culture of change, collaboration and continuous improvement.


Stakeholder Management & Leadership Alignment

  • Facilitate decision-making, alignment workshops and cross-functional forums in a matrix environment.
  • Enable clear governance, roles, escalation paths and decision rights.
  • Influence without formal authority, ensuring momentum and disciplined execution.


Required Experience & Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 7–10+ years of experience in PMO, Transformation Office, Strategy Execution or Large-Scale Project/Program Management roles.
  • Strong exposure to HR-led transformations (organizational design, culture, leadership, ways of working).


Technical & Methodological Skills

  • Expertise in Project and Program Management methodologies
  • Knowledge of Change Management frameworks
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and organizational impact assessment.
  • Advanced skills in project management tools, dashboards, executive reporting and presentations.


Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills in non-hierarchical environments.
  • Excellent communication, synthesis and storytelling abilities at executive level.
  • Structured, analytical and systems-thinking mindset.
  • High resilience and ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Proactive, pragmatic and results-oriented approach.


Languages

  • Fluent English and Italian
