We are currently looking for a Senior HR Generalist to reinforce our HR Department.
Responsibilities
The resource, integrated within the HR function and dedicated to the production areas, will ensure the technical and operational management of HR processes supporting the Plant and the operational lines.
Personnel Management & HR Operations- Support production managers in day-to-day personnel management (shift planning, leave management, claims, transfers, internal mobility).
- Manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with the Italian Metalworkers’ National Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
- Support the preparation of documentation and formal HR processes.
- Monitor HR KPIs.
- Manage employment contracts and related activities (hiring, extensions, contract changes, secondments).
- Define technical requirements for roles in collaboration with department managers.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for mechanical, engineering, production, and maintenance profiles.
- Conduct salary analysis for technical professionals and skilled blue‑collar workers.
- Support the definition of individual and team incentive systems.
- Perform internal and external benchmarking for high‑skill technical and production roles.
- Map hard and soft skills within operational teams and analyze technical/professional skill gaps.
- Support the design and coordination of technical training plans.
- Support performance management processes: data collection, result analysis, and creation of individual development plans.
- Partner with the Plant Manager and Line Managers to tackle complex HR issues.
- Manage employee relations and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the work environment and climate.
- Participate in cross-functional HR projects (process digitalization, workforce planning, industrialization and efficiency initiatives).
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Legal, Psychology, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles within structured industrial/manufacturing environments, preferably metalworking.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes in industrial contexts: Talent Acquisition, personnel management, C&B, organization, technical training.
- Solid understanding of the CCNL Metalmeccanico and HR regulations.
- Excellent command of English; strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
