Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure a high-quality service and guarantee guest satisfaction within the hotel. You will lead a team, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are impeccably maintained.

Team Management and Supervision

  • Train and supervise the housekeeping team responsible for guest rooms and public areas.
  • Plan and organize work schedules to ensure optimal coverage of the hotel’s housekeeping needs.
  • Oversee the daily work of the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

Quality Assurance

  • Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Ensure that special guest requests are considered and resolve housekeeping-related complaints quickly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain strict cleaning procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure that all rooms are fully prepared and ready for guest arrivals.

Inventory and Supplies Management

  • Manage the inventory of cleaning products and housekeeping supplies.
  • Order necessary supplies while adhering to the allocated budget.

Coordination With Other Departments

  • Collaborate with the Front Office department to ensure smooth communication regarding room status.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance department to report and follow up on repairs and maintenance issues.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Train staff on safety procedures and ensure they are properly followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and safety inspections.

About You

  • Passionate about the hospitality industry with initial experience (in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel) in a similar position, including team management and staff development.
  • Dynamic and proactive, with a strong sense of service.
  • Maintain an excellent professional appearance, are available, and always attentive to guests’ needs.
  • Demonstrate rigor, strong organizational skills, and a great team spirit.
  • Pay close attention to detail and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
