We are seeking an Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and oversee the housekeeping team at Borgo Santo Pietro. You will ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation, supporting a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet luxury standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team, fostering a professional, collaborative, and disciplined work environment.
- Maintain constant communication with the Housekeeping Manager to align priorities, updates, and operational needs.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing issues promptly and maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Spa, and other departments to ensure smooth guest operations and timely room readiness.
- Manage housekeeping schedules, staff assignments, and workflow to optimize efficiency without compromising quality.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, requesting replenishments as needed.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures across all housekeeping activities.
- Respond to guest requests, preferences, and special requirements with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Support process improvements, standard operating procedures, and training initiatives to elevate service excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and guide staff.
- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
- Meticulous, organised, and attentive to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating effectively with multiple departments.
