Overview
Diamonds Mequifi Beach Resorts located in Monzambique. The hotel is managed by the Italian company Renco S.p.a.
Responsibilities
- Organize, manage and supervise the hotel's services and operational departments;
- Pursue the objectives assigned by the company in terms of budget, cost maintenance (personnel, energy, meal cost, etc.) and contribution margin;
- Guarantee the reputation of the structure, monitor the level of guest satisfaction and manage any complaints, including personally;
- Monitor the quality of services and propose actions to improve them;
- Promote internal growth and development projects for collaborators with potential;
- Supervise and ensure compliance with applicable regulations (eg HACCP, workplace safety, safety and fire regulations, privacy, etc.);
- Interact with the Corporate offices in an effective and coherent way with the forecast of the General Management;
- Manage relations with suppliers and maintain good relations with the territory.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the role in resorts or in 4-star chain hotels, preferably abroad;
- Strong orientation towards combining the role of coordination and supervision with one's own operational involvement;
- Operational experience and natural orientation towards people management;
- Strong customer orientation;
- Problem solving;
- Excellent commercial skills supported by knowledge of IT tools (channel manager) and the world of online distribution (OTA, BTA,...);
- Knowledge of English and, preferably, of French.
