About The Property

Colere 1600 by Cloud 7 is a charming mountain village renowned for its unspoiled landscapes, and year‑round appeal. The destination offers a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with skiing, hiking, and climbing, as well as a retreat for those seeking tranquility. Within this stunning setting, the Colere 1600 by Cloud 7 features 28 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, offering a blend of comfort and contemporary alpine style. Guests will enjoy a wellness centre dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation, along with a variety of refined hospitality in lounge bar & ski, a la carte and self‑service restaurants, the hotel embodies the perfect balance of adventure, wellness, and Italian charm.

Location

Colere 1600 by Cloud 7 is in the Italian Alps, in the mountain village of Colere, offering a secluded alpine setting with access to major international gateways. Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) is approximately 55 km away, Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is around 160 km from the property.

About The Role

The Hotel Manager is tasked with designing unique experiences for guests and building a connected community driving visibility for the destination. Beyond overseeing daily operations of Colere 1600 by Cloud 7, their role involves integrating the local culture into the hotel’s atmosphere, ensuring a deep sense of belonging and top‑tier personalized service. The Hotel Manager’s goal is to ensure service delivery is not only efficient but also personalized, reflecting the highest standards of hospitality. Their role is crucial in aligning the hotel’s services with the specific needs and expectations of each guest, ensuring daily operational success, guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full pre‑opening phase, including recruitment, onboarding, and operational readiness
  • Build and develop high‑performing teams aligned with Kerten Hospitality culture and Cloud 7 standards
  • Design and deliver training programmes to ensure service excellence and guest experience
  • Oversee procurement and installation of OS&E and FF&E, ensuring timely opening readiness
  • Manage licences, permits, compliance, and pre‑opening documentation with authorities
  • Develop opening budgets, pricing strategies, and financial forecasts
  • Lead seasonal hiring and workforce planning, ensuring operational coverage in line with business demand
  • Oversee all hotel operations, driving performance, profitability, and guest experience
  • Act as the main liaison with ownership, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Build strong local partnerships and identify new revenue opportunities

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in hotel management and experience in ski resort in Europe is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Pre‑opening experience is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset and analytical skills to anticipate market trends, identify business opportunities, and make informed decisions that drive competitive advantage and business success.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions in a timely manner, while considering the impact on various stakeholders.
  • Sound judgement and decision‑making capabilities to evaluate options, assess risks, and make informed decisions that align with the organization’s goals and values.
