The role:
We are looking for an Homologation Engineer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO) , reporting to the Head of Technical Confermity.
You will be responsible for ensuring the homologation of the vehicle under the manufacturer responsibility of Automobili Lamborghini in compliance with the vehicle-technical legal requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Definition and planning of the tests required for vehicle certification;
- Witness certification tests with technical Services/Authorities;
- Check coherence of Self-Certification documents released before Technical Conformity team approval (when in assigned Market scope);
- Technical point of contact with Local partners (e.g. Importers), Authorities and Technical Services where/when required;
- New Regulations information acquisition with special focus on the technical regulations assigned ( Safety, Electronics, ADAS, Cybersecurity, Pollutant Emission, OBD, etc., etc.)
- Interpretation related regulations in collaboration with VW Group (Regulation Clusters) and local homologation interfaces (e.g. Importers, Technical services, Authorities)
About you:
- At least 1 year of experience in Passenger cars vehicle homologation and in vehicle validation / homologation tests
- English and Italian mandatory; German as a plus
