Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification and validation plans, test case development & execution of test cases
  • Check DTC's information, DID, IO Routines, OnBoard Routines, reset ECU, Set the DTC's and heal them
  • Conduct OBD reviews of design changes that may affect OBD compliance
  • Understanding of OBD certification process and CARB submission for OBD compliant modules, preparation of OBD certification documentation
  • Prepare and update Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) matrix and Diagnostic Definition Table (DDT) matrix
  • Conduct design failure mode effects analysis for control logic changes if needed
  • Create requirements for implementing algorithms into engine/transmission/hybrid software
  • Establish and execute design verification plans for control logic development
  • Conduct requirement analysis
  • Develop Controls DVP
  • Perform functional Validation
  • Issue debugging & report analysis
  • Execute various testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Execute performance testing to ensure the product meets performance requirements.


Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded C (MIL/SIL, V-model, Agile software development)
  • Hands-on experience with HIL test validation (dSpace Control desk)
  • Must have experience with On-Board-Diagnostics. In depth knowledge of OBD I and OBD II system control algorithm/calibration is an advantage
  • Minimum B2 level fluency in Italian and English language.
  • Working level knowledge on Automotive electronic communication standards ISO-14229 and ISO-15765 and UDS protocol, J1979
  • Must be familiar with diagnostic tool, like STLA diagnostic tool like CDA, SCAN tool
  • Knowledge on Automotive Communication Protocols, specifically CAN
  • Knowledge on DTC CAN/Fault matrix, DVPNR, CARB document
  • Awareness of U-Codes diagnostics improvement and robustness.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience in handling customer activities
  • Good Knowledge on Microsoft Office

  • Electrical wiring Harness
  • C/C++ programming skills
  • ETAS, Vector, DOORS, ALM, Unipro
