High Performance Aftermarket Sales Coordinator

Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal‑management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative‑energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck – Dana provides OEMs and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Position Summary

The function ensures the achievement of Sales and Customer Satisfaction objectives by leading new application programs (e.g., kit cars / restomode) and managing RFQs from automotive OEMs. It interfaces daily with all other departments/functions to proactively monitor and expedite order fulfilment, and coordinates the EMEA LV aftermarket OES sales reporting.

Opportunities

  • EMEA level coordination of LV aftermarket activities
  • Involvement in global LV Aftermarket MOR (Monthly Operating Review) process
  • Developing overseas opportunities for the Graziano product line (North America, Asia Pacific)

Challenges

  • Involvement in cross‑departmental specifics (Logistics, Engineering, Material Planning, Supply Chain) and managing the complexity

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Aftermarket Sales EMEA LV/CV; define sales targets and support regular revision monitoring of main trends and challenges impacting the forecasts.
  • Manage RFQs from major OEMs on both serial production and phased‑out units or components.
  • Lead coordination and execution of special projects related to phased‑out transmissions being implemented into kit‑cars or restomode.
  • Work closely with Engineering to define application and product specifications.
  • Work with Purchasing and Logistics to analyse feasibility and availability.
  • Manage quotations and ensure fulfilment of orders.
  • In cooperation with OEM sales team, monitor serial production phase‑out process and ensure flawless transition to AFM including proposal for last‑time buys or new pricing.
  • Support global Dana Aftermarket organisation to develop high‑performance product segment ensuring technical and administrative support to non‑EMEA regions (North America, Asia Pacific, etc.).
  • Ensure consistency with Dana Incorporated Ethics and Safety Governance.

Job Position Requirements

Education

  • University bachelor’s degree – Engineering (Mechanical preferred)

Professional Background

  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive aftermarket/aftersales business
  • Background in managing sales for drivetrain products an advantage
  • Proven experience in coordination of relaunch of complex components phase‑out
  • Management of quotation with accountability on marginality

Hard Skills (Essential)

  • Fluent in reading technical drawings
  • Capable of coordinating technical projects
  • Fluent in English & Italian both written and spoken
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
